My Guide: Manage Chronic Pain

When you are in pain, every aspect of your life is affected. It’s not easy to enjoy life, work or even feel positive when you are in pain and I realise many of you reading this book will know what that feels like. Now, I find it hard to believe I was in almost constant pain for over seven years. Thankfully, I managed to overcome the pain completely so that I can now live a full and active life again. This book is not about curing any illness of injuries you may have – it is about managing chronic pain so that you can live a better life. My Guide: Manage Chronic Pain is not intended as an instruction manual. It is simply my personal journey to overcome pain and details of the techniques I used to achieve this. This book is for people who understand or who are open to the idea that our minds can have an effect on our well-being. That doesn’t mean that the pain you are feeling is imagined – it is simply that there are ways in which you can reduce the intensity in which you feel it.
