Now, I find it hard to believe I was in almost constant pain for over seven years. Thankfully, I managed to overcome the pain completely so that I can now live a full and active life again. This book is not about curing any illness of injuries you may have – it is about managing chronic pain so that you can live a better life. My Guide: Manage Chronic Pain is not intended as an instruction manual. It is simply my personal journey to overcome pain and details of the techniques I used to achieve this. This book is for people who understand or who are open to the idea that our minds can have an effect on our well-being. That doesn’t mean that the pain you are feeling is imagined – it is simply that there are ways in which you can reduce the intensity in which you feel it.
