The VersaMount makes your TrekPod or other Tripod an even more versatile tool by quickly securing anywhere along the upper or lower tubes. The industry standard 1/4" -20 threaded stud allows you to mount almost any photographic or optical device. The VersaMount allows you to take pictures from a seated or kneeling position, seated long-range observation with powerful spotting scopes and allows very steady Macro photography work with the TrekPod or many other tripods. Used with the optional VersaRest (not included), it can turn your TrekPod into a seated shooting stick for hunting or target practice. Adding the optional MagMount ballhead (not included) provides quick-release/quick mounting as well as pan, tilt and swivel orientation of your camera for portrait and landscape photos. The VersaMount works on virtually any tube with a diameter between 14.25mm and 29.5mm.
