It is Category IV 600V certified, with European Conformity (CE) marking (electromagnetic compatibility / low voltage directive, EMC/LVD).Triplett 9310-A digital clamp-on ammeter and multimeter has a clamp with two jaws that close around a conductor to measure AC current without touching or interrupting the circuit and a set of test leads for measuring voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, and frequency, and the meter comes with a K-type thermocouple probe for taking temperature measurements. The meter measures duty cycles to 99%, indicating the percent of time a circuit is on. An audible continuity sensor confirms a circuit conducts electricity, and a diode test detects proper functioning of a circuit"s diodes. The relative mode stores a reading in memory to use as a zero point for subsequent readings so that multiple readings can be compared. The hold function keeps the reading on the display, even after the meter is disconnected. The LCD is backlit for readability in low light. A finger guard on the body of the meter helps protect fingers from shock. It is an average-sensing, or average-responding, meter and provides accurate readings when measuring linear loads where the current or voltage has a sinusoidal waveform. When turned on, the meter is in auto-ranging mode and automatically selects the correct operating range for the property being measured. It can be switched to manual-ranging mode, which allows the operator to choose the appropriate operating range.The Triplett Plug-Bug 2 GFCI receptacle tester verifies functionality and proper wiring of a GFCI-protected receptacle on a grounded three-wire circuit. It is for use on 110 to 125V receptacles.The Triplett Sniff-It 2 non-contact voltage detector senses AC voltage without touching or disconnecting the circuit, helping to protect the operator from shock by identifying live wires and cables.The Triplett Breaker Sniff It PN9650 circuit breaker finder traces the connection between a circuit breaker and an outlet, locates energized cables and wires behind walls, and finds a specific wire in a bundle of wires. It is used in industrial and home applications where a circuit feeding an electrical outlet must be turned off or a wire or cable carrying alternating current must be located, repaired, or replaced. The unit comes with a transmitter, which is plugged into an outlet to test the outlet, and a receiver, which is held near the suspected path of a cable or wire to trace it. The transmitter emits a coded signal for accurate location of the circuit breaker, wire, or cable. The transmitter has a plug that is plugged into an outlet to power the unit, and the receiver operates on one 9V battery (sold separately).The TPAL-001 Triplett Autoloader Professional multibit screwdriver is constructed from metal and chemical- and shock-resistant plastics, for resistance to wear, corrosion, and electricity. The pump-action handle allows the operator to choose and load the desired bit, and the handle"s antiroll design resists rolling when set down on inclined or vibrating surfaces. A rotating front collar allows the tool to be adjusted for a better grip on bits. Three Phillips-head bits and three flat-head bits are included with the screwdriver, and it will accept additional bits (sold separately).
