This is a collection of papers on the topic of integrated library automation systems. The three sections of the book discuss the key concepts in the evolution of library systems. Providing an exploration of the direction in which library automation is heading, the book focuses on management issues, partnerships and the role of institutions, libraries, utilities, systems and vendors. Some of the future problems are outlined.
