Part of a wider research program of research reconstructing human occupation of the Mukogodo Hills, this dissertation looks at changes in lithic technologies and changes in procurement strategies and stylistic changes through time. A comparative analysis of lithic artefacts from two rockshelter sites, Shurmai (GnJm1) and Kakwa Lelash (GnJm2), is presented, emphasising techno-morphological attributes, function, style and raw material usage.
