As a member of The Marx Brothers, Harpo Marx had delighted film goers for years with his zany and slapstick humour, usually recognizable by the fact that he never spoke in any of the films, relying on nonverbal ways to communicate, and his harp playing, which occurred in just about every film! In 1952 he recorded his first album for RCA, Harp By Harpo, and five years later signed with Mercury Records, a deal that would result in two albums. This particular album, Harpo At Work is the second of those Mercury albums, originally released in 1958 and featuring a great collection of songs written by some of the greatest composers of the time.
