Crisis at the Castle is set in Tarnby-on-the-Knoll in the Scottish Borders. Shadow the lurcher gets a nasty surprise when her mum presents her with a secret baby sister, a Jack Russell with a patch on one eye called Emily Moonshine. Shadow detests the little pipsqueak on sight.
