Professor Karl Eugen Neuhaus (1879- 1963) was born in Germany and later emmigrated to the U. S.A.. Amongst his works are The Galleries of the Exposition (1915), The Art of the Exposition (1915), The San Diego Garden Fair (1916), Painters, Pictures and People (1918), The Appreciation of Art (1924), The History and Ideals of American Art (1931), The World of Art (1936), William Keith (1938) and The Art of Treasure Island (1939).
