At the beginning of the last century, after the great success of the Traou Mad de Pont-Aven cookies, Alexis Le Villain created a recipe somewhat distinct from that confection. Les Galettes de Pont-Aven, rather than being thick and substantial, they are delicate and thin. They, too, are made with full-fat butter and all natural ingredients. However, they are much more refined in appearance and taste.Our Galettes de Pont-Aven are presented in a beautiful, reusable tin decorated with the distinctive reproduction of La Sieste, painted by Paul Gauguin in 1892. The tin contains 16 cookies, 4.5 ounces or 130g.
