Amprobe IR-720 Infrared Thermometer, -26F to 1922F , 20:1
Price 102.13 - 129.95 USD
The Amprobe IR-720 infrared thermometer is designed to measure temperature in a variety of HVAC, electrical, automotive, industrial maintenance, quality control, and fire prevention applications. The meter has a 20:1 distance-to-spot (D:S) ratio, and a minimum spot size of 25mm. Emissivity is digitally adjustable from 0.10 to 1.00, in increments of 0.01, for testing a variety of materials. A single laser pointer helps ensure more accurate targeting. The backlit LCD display has an eight-second hold for reading temperature, and a low battery indicator to help prevent false readings. The meter also displays maximum, minimum, average, and difference temperature A tripod mount stabilizes the meter for reading that require extended time. Dual-scale temperature readings range from -26 to 1,922 degrees F (-32 to 1050 degrees C), with a resolution of 0.1 degrees F (0.1 degrees C). The device operates on one 9V alkaline battery, which provides approximately 10 hours of use with the laser and backlight on, or 30 hours of use with the laser and backlight off. Specifications Accuracy (with ambient operating temperature of 70 to 77 degrees F) For temperatures -26 to 32 degrees F, accuracy is + or - 1.8 percent + 2 degrees F, or + or - 6 degrees F, whichever is greater; for temperatures 32 to 1922 degrees F, accuracy is + or - 1.8 percent, or + or - 4 degrees F, whichever is greater Accuracy (with ambient operating temperature of 21 to 25 degrees C) For temperatures -32 to 0 degrees C, accuracy is + or - 1.8 percent + 1 degrees C, or + or - 2.8 degrees C, whichever is greater; for temperatures 0 to 1050 degrees C, accuracy is + or - 1.8 percent, or + or - 1.8 degrees C, whichever is greater Repeatability + or - 0.5 percent of reading, or + or - 1 degree F (0.5 degree C), whichever is greater Spectral response 8 to 14 microns Laser sighting and power Single-point laser with output greater than 1 milliwatt Class 2, wavelength is 630 to 670 nanometers Response time (95%) 500 milliseconds Operating temperature 32 to 104 degrees F (0 to 40 degrees C), at less than 75 percent relative humidity (non-condensing) Storage temperature -4 to 150 degrees F (-20 to 65 degrees C) Dimensions Approximately 6.7 x 5.4 x 2.1 inches (169 x 138 x 53 mm) (H x W x D) Weight Approximately 0.64 lb. (290g), with battery installed H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back. Thermometers are used to measure temperature for various applications such as education, general purpose Quality Control (QC) labs and research lab testing, and for biological process monitoring.Amprobe manufactures electrical testing equipment for commercial, industrial, and home use.
