2009 collection of new recordings of classic songs from the musical Fiddler On The Roof. With music written by Jerry Bock and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and based on the story `Tevye And His Daughters" by Sholem Aleichem, `Fiddler On The Roof" opened on Broadway in 1964. It would go on to become the first musical to top the 3,000 performance mark, proof of its endearing quality.
