Providing an account of the current state of knowledge in child psychiatry, this text blends research approaches and findings with the understanding that comes from clinical experience and practice. For the new edition a major revision and updating of all chapters has been carried out. The section on adolescent disorders has been extended, as has the coverage of treatment approaches. There are 18 new chapters, and a number of new authors from the UK and USA have contributed articles.
