If the Serpent Could Save Me, is an arrangement of work written about my life"s temptaions. It is about illusions we may face on a daily basis. If I had to rename the album it would be The Essential Tools for Enlightment. I believe in today"s world we need less glorification of hate and more identification of self-empowerment and respect. By the same token I would like the listener to gather their own personal perception of what, "If the Serpent Could Save Me" means to them. Either way they absorb the reflections of Ken Phlow.
