Here are the results of the 1996 Hawaii Restaurant Survey covering more than 400 restaurants in Oahu, the Big Island, Kauai, Lanai, Maui, and Molokai. Nearly 600 people participated in this Survey eating more than 108,000 restaurant meals. Zagat surveyors offer written commentary and score each establishment on a 0-to-30 scale for Food, Decor and Service, as well as providing an average cost-per-meal.
