MIKE HURST was one of The SPRINGFIELDS.They were the first ever British vocal group to have a USA Top 10 single "Silver Threads & Golden Needles"...before the BEATLES. Mike quit The Springfields after 5 Chart Singles including "Island Of dreams" and formed his own band.The members included JIMMY PAGE, ALBERT LEE & TONY ASHTON. In 1966 Mike became a Record Producer. Mike"s track record as a producer went from strength to strength with his production credits over the next two decades including PP ARNOLD "The First Cut Is The Deepest", MANFRED MANN "Mighty Quinn", MOVE "Curly", SPENCER DAVIS GROUP "Time Seller", MARC BOLAN "The Wizard", SHOWADDYWADDY - all 17 Top 20 singles and many others racking up 40 million record sales worldwide. During the early 70"s Mike recorded 2 solo Albums "Home" and "In My Time". Both of these albums are released on CD for the first time with "bonus" tracks recorded in the early 80"s by SUNDANCE, which featured Mike & MARY HOPKIN on vocals.
