Bebey Price Bissongo grew up to the sounds of his native Burkina Faso, to which he now adds his own influences including touches of jazz, blues, rock, and funk. With this album, recorded in concert at the Amphi Opéra in Lyon, he shows himself to be the worthy heir of his father, L Empereur Bissongo, one of the most famous Burkinabé musicians of the 1970s.
