This is a diary of two outstanding Pushkinists Mstislav and Tat"iana Tsiavlovskiis during their work on the academic publication of the complete works and first complete chronicle of Aleksandr Pushkin"s life (1920-1970) and numerous indices. Their house was a small research institute for Pushkin studies, where they had their famous card catalog, rich library on the subject and ongoing seminar, which united the efforts of the main Pushkinists of their time. The diary reflects the life of this seminar and the main events: publishhers" intrigues, investigation and findings, hypotheses and discoveries, meetings with Veresaev, Tynianov, Tomashevskii, Eidel"man and others.
