Unicorns and flying horses are very, very shy. They show themselves only to a few elves and only a few can stroke or even ride them. Anybody, whom they allow all this, may also groom and feed them. The elves have very special brushes for the unicorns and flying horses and the animals love them. They are soft and give the fur a very special shimmer.
