The country of the Dragons is full of poisonous snakes, but none of them are as dangerous or deadly as the blood viper. They say that its fangs can even pierce chainmail and thick leather gloves. Whether that"s true or not, the viper"s venom burns its victims from inside. No sane man ventures into the narrow valley in which they live. But there are always high-spirited men trying to catch blood vipers. Hardly any of them have ever survived.
