The RK5000PS-3U chassis has 12 empty slots that can hold single width or double-width fiber optic modules or single-width UTP modules. The modules and the internal power supply are 3 RU high. The internal power supply powers all modules and can be replaced easily if it fails. The chassis is designed to mount into an EIA-standard, 19-inch rack.
