COMPATIBLE WITH DAKOTA ALERT 2500 SERIES PRODUCTS. The Dakota Alert 2500 Wireless Vehicle Detection Kit with Rubber Hose is a driveway alarm kit that alerts you when a vehicle enters your driveway. The included hose lies across your driveway"s entrance and detects vehicles that cross over it. When a vehicle drives over the hose, a signal is sent to the receiver, which then alerts you by playing one of four different tones. FEATURES: Adjustable alert volume. Choose from four different alert tunes. Weatherproof detection hose is ruggedly designed for long-term outdoor use. Operating range up to a half mile. When the receiver is activated by the hose transmitter, one of four different tones (Classical, Westminster Chime, Ding Dong, or Whistle) sounds for a few seconds. Up to 4 zones can be monitored with additional transmitters (sold separately). Each transmitter can be programmed to sound a different tone at the receiver, indicating which transmitter was activated. The transmitter is weatherproof with a rugged design for long-term outdoor use. It operates on one 9-volt battery. The receiver plugs into a standard wall outlet and can be placed on a table or mounted on the wall. Its antenna is built-in (no external antenna required). It is equipped with four form "C" relays (one for each zone), and one 12-volt DC output terminal that activates for several seconds when a signal is received. The 12-volt DC terminal and relays can be set to activate for 1 second, 10 seconds, 60 seconds or 10 minutes. The tones will still sound for several seconds. Note: 2500 Series products will only work with other 2500 Series products and are not compatible with other Dakota Alert systems.
