To increase stability, a hook on the bottom of the center column has been added and can be used to hang additional weights. The travel angle BK-586 also features a detachable leg which can be unscrewed and used in conjunction with extra monopod centerpost to convert the tripod into a full sized monopod which can also be used as a walking sticks.
