The IPM614 windshield and dash suction car mount holds iPad mini and other midsized (7” or 8” screen size) tablets. The mount also holds Apple iPhone 6S and 6 Plus, iPhone 6S, 6, 5, and 5S. It includes Arkon’s Slim-Grip Ultra spring-loaded universal holder, the Travelmount deluxe mini windshield suction car mount with one-touch lever, and a 3M adhesive mounting disk (for optional dash mounting). The iPad mini or iPhone stays securely in place with the spring-loaded holder, but can be inserted or removed from the mount with one hand. Included with the holder are 8 support legs (4 short and 4 longer versions) that can be customized to work with the spring-loaded holder to extend as large as 7.5” tall (using all four legs) or as compact as 4” tall (using all four short legs) depending on the size of your device. The top and bottom adjustable-leg design of the Slim-Grip Ultra helps keep any side buttons and ports unobstructed. The recommended configuration for iPad mini, iPhone 6S, 6, 5, and 5S is to have 2 short legs on the top of the holder and 2 of the longer legs on the bottom of the holder for best results. For the iPhone 6S or 6 Plus, use the 4 long support legs for best performance. The mount fits all non-flip smartphones, even those with ruggedized or large protective cases or skins. The arm of the suction mount adjusts vertically and provides 360° rotation with 30° left and right movement, giving you the ultimate flexibility in positioning the device at any angle. This mount uses DEHP-free PVC suction, which performs well in hot climates.
