Diabetes is an important and increasingly common global health problem. The World Health Organization has estimated that about 170 million people currently have diabetes worldwide.Environmental factors such as obesity, a diet high in sugar, and a sedentary lifestyle are all risk factors for developing Type 2 diabetes. This book provides the basic knowledge to analyze Microarray data of diebetes. Clustering is done to the genes which are more expressed in Type II diabetes. Phylogenetic analysis is done on the basis of the sequence similarity by which the rate of expression is also similar. Two proteins Beliverdine and Uroporphyrinogen are taken and eight antidiabetic drugs such as Acarbose, Gliquidone, Metformin, Miglitol, Mitiglinide, Pioglitazone, Sitagliptin, Voglibose. These drugs are used as ligands. The two receptors are subjected to docking with eight ligands. ACARBOSE is determined as most efficient drug.
