This is a photoreprint of a work by professor of jurisprudence Vasilii Nikolaevich Leshkov (1810-1881) published in 1858. He belonged to the circle of scholars of the Slavophile orientation. The book defines so called Social Law which later was divided into several separate fields: Administrative Law, Labor Law, Social Protection Law, etc. The most interesting part of this work is interpretations of various social rights for the Russian reality in several subsequent phases of the development of the Russian state.
