Though the story is rather chilly it is still fun to read thanks to the author"s usual brilliant humor. The recent public and economic war against the Russian TV stations NTV, TB-6 ,and TBC is over, but its history and the forces moving behind the scenes are not completely reflected. Viktor Shenderovich, the host of the most popular show on NTV "Itogo", first made his name as a script writer for another political show "Puppets" started in 1994. This book includes four stories: Here was NTV; Kukliada; Nothing but the Truth, Circumstances of" Force Majore. The Story of Kukliada, The Puppets show, is the story of its criminal prosecution by political authorities, the reaction of the people and of politicians, and the collective work behind the scenes. The last work has been added to the second edition is a witness of the war against stations TV-6 and TVS.
