The genre of this book about the outstanding Russian poet Aleksandr Blok (1880-1921) is defined by its authors-compilers as a montage. They included materials about Blok from very rare and practically unavailable pre-Revolutionary sources: periodicals and collected works, as well as his personal documents from archives. All materials are arranged chronologically.
