It was founded in 1922 by Ruggero Bauli in Verona. The market share of Trunks in so-called festive products (doves, pandoro, panettone ...) stands at 25% while the croissants in the breakfast is more than 22%. Trunks in 2004 bought the company F.B.F. and in 2006 the company from Treviso Doria, producer of biscuits Snowdrop, Athens and Dorian. 31 July 2009 Trunks acquired by the group Nestle bakery products marketed under the brands Motta, Alemagna, Motta Tartufone, Trinidad and Gran Soft and related production site in San Martino Buon Albergo (VR). The agreement has been operational since 1 August 2009. Group turnover is around 460 million euro, with a total area of establishments amounted to 420,000 m², of which 54,000 square meters of warehouses at production sites, with an average total of 1,214 employees at four manufacturing plants for a total of 31 lines manufacturing and 27 distribution centers. The group has 170 types of products and 697 references in the market of bakery products. The production is around 7 million pandori, 8.2 million traditional panettone, about 4 million and 4 million doves traditional chocolate eggs, croissants 180 million, 14 million pigtails, 30 million sfogliatini and other products base of puff pastry.
