This is the tenth issue of the almanac started in 1996. This issue, like the previous ones, reflect the changes in the Intelligentsia"s attitude towards engagement and understanding of their role in Russian political life through the Gorbachev, El"tsin, and Putin" epochs. The book is a collection of minutes of the political discussions in the club "Svobodnoe Slovo" in the Institute of Philosophy in 2006-2007.
