This book analyzes and comments on "Ecloga", a Byzantine legislative work of the 8th century translated into Slavonic. The dispositions of "Ecloga" protected and supported the institution of marriage, increased the rights of wives and legal children, and introduced the equality of all citizens before the law. Index.
