King s College Choir are the most famous choir in the world. This set of the complete Argo recordings celebrates David Willcocks tenure from 1957-1973 and includes some of the most beautiful choral music sung with the choir s trademark richness and purity of sound. Included are many of the choral greats Bach s St John Passion, Tallis Spem in Alium, Haydn s Nelson Mass, and Roy Goodman in the most famous recording of Allegri s Miserere - all in the glorious acoustics of King s College Chapel.
