A.S. Khomiakov i Sovremennost": Zarozhdenie i Perspektiva Sobornoi Fenomenologii

"Sobornost" " is interpreted by the author as the unity of a free people based on spiritual love and devotion to Russia. This monograph shows the place of this concept in religious and secular version of A.S. Khomiakov"s phenomenology. V. Kholodnyi (b. 1932) shows how the Slavophile philosophy influenced the argument about the Russian Idea and the whole of European philosophy and its discourse. Kholodnyi analyzes the spiritual crisis of modern Russia and of world civilization and the possibility of a revival of those on the road of the "sobornost" philosophy. Bibliographic references.
