This moisture meter has a large digital LCD readout: 2" x 1-1/8" to display the moisture content in any wood. The instant readout is accurate to + or - 1%, and very easy to see. The range is from 0 to 40% relative moisture. This uses a standard 9 volt battery (included) and has an on/off button to retain battery life when not in use. A low battery symbol appears when the battery needs to be replaced. There is a protective cap to shield the two very sharp probe metering pins. Packaged in an attractive zippered protective case.
