Jack Wallace is a small-town lawyer in Kansas who heads west on a motorcycle to do a little fly-fishing and to find out what is missing in his life. Jack takes a job on a ranch in Wyoming where his new employer turns out to be an ex-KGB boss with some cold-war era munitions to sell to the highest bidder. The FBI is on his trail, but they need Jack"s help to find the suspected weapons. Jack"s walkabout the west turns into a desperate struggle to prevent disaster, complicated further by a beautiful woman that works for the opposition.
