Gladys Davidson has rewritten the librettos of 53 operas as short stories and added by short biographies of the composers. This collection includes most of the major classic operas, including Carmen, La Boheme, Madama Butterfly, The Marriage of Figaro, La Traviata, Eugene Onegin, and Wagner"s Ring Cycle.
