Pauly Bunyan, after the loss of his famous father, was mentored by a wise old man known only as the Swamp Angel. In a mission to seek the source of his father"s prodigious strength, he embarks on a hazardous journey through Indian country to find a group called the Grand Medicine Society. In memory of Paul Bunyan, whom they referred to as the Great Saganosh, this council bestows their favors on his son Pauly. By delivering a moonstone with mystic powers, given to him by the Swamp Angel, Pauly is able to enter the domain of the ageless one, he who had been anointed by the Great Spirit. Only the Great Menabozho holds the secret of imparting great strength, a gift given to Pauly"s father some years before.
