The monograph analyzes the Russian national idea in the process of its development and unrolling. The author shows that Russia is to make a choice between the paradigm of survival and the paradigm of development. To do so she needs to overcome the resistance of the government structure and the elite on its payroll. Choosing the latter paradigm, the author offers a multilevel concept of development for Russia.
