This book is a memoir of priest Evstafii (Baslyk, E.K.1902-1970). He was born in Vilna Gubernia which in various periods of its life was Poland, Germany or the USSR. He was arrested in 1951 for refusal to cooperate with the KGB, sentenced to 10 years in a concentration camp. He was released and rehabilitated in 1956 and later was a priest in several churches. The book is illustrated with photographs from the Russian Orthodox archives.
