This case accommodates both charging and syncing.HOW TO USE:The Muvit VOLT Powercase is easy to use, you can either charge the Powercase alone or together with the iPhone 5. Simply connect it to an AC power adaptor or computer using the supplied Micro USB cable, the iPhone 5 will be charged to 100% first and then the Powercase will be charged after. The 4 light charge level indicator shows the power status of the case in increments of 25% (4 lights = 100%). Charge up the iPhone 5 by holding down the power switch located on the back of the case and it will automatically start charging, repeat this same step to stop charging.
