This Glass dome is in satin matt to soften shadow edges and also helps protect the Elinchrom flash tube. Note Heads or Compacts with E27/100W or 250W Modeling Lights cannot be used with the Glass-Dome. This is only possible when used with small Halogen lamps, same wattages, but with the GX 6.35 socket. This requires Halogen Lamp Adapter 23101, which converts from E27 to GX 6.35.
