Based on 15-years of research on ADHD, Hocus-pocus combines real time brainwave feedback with learning and play. Hocus-pocus uses NeuroSky’s Mind Wave Mobile EEG headset to monitor attention and relaxation levels, and is further designed to improve impulse control, working memory, and attention for children who have difficulty concentrating. Users can customize a wizard avatar and train to develop “powers" by mastering 12minigames, including racing broomsticks, brewing potions, and battling dragons! The gameplay of this magical world is devised to be fun, but it also incorporates a series of feedback modes designed to track and train the player"s mental states, highlighting areas where they need improvement. There is also a parental reporting application called Focus In that allows parents to log in daily and see how their child is progressing with their exercises.
