VGR Series Tripods are reverse structure tripods designed according to the Golden Ratio shown in Da Vinci’s famous picture of the Vitruvian Man. An aluminum alloy with high molecular density made using forging technology allows for a stronger, yet lighter weight yoke. VGR series tripods have an extremely small folded length: 15.8" on this model. One leg becomes a Monopod when attached to the center column! Three leg positions allow adjustments to accommodate any terrain. The legs fold 180 degrees to protect the center column & quick release ballhead when closed. This tripod features rubber feet, a bubble level, and a retractable hook for use with a stone bag or other weight system in windy conditions. Patented SDL Speed Locking System allows you to tighten or loosen all of the locks on one leg with one hand at the same time using just an 1/8th turn twist.
