The duo of Mieko Miyazaki and Guo Gan duo are based in France. After both musicians left their respective countries of origin, it created the backdrop for a meeting that would have never taken place if neither had left the Far East. And yet, the Japanese koto and Chinese erhu were made to meet just as the guitar of Django Reinhardt with the violin of Stephane Grappelli.
