Formed in 1996, REST IN PEACE is a Progressive heavy-metal band from Grenoble, made of five musicians that had before worked in numerous local line-ups (ARCHANGE, HEADWAY, SERIAL KILLERS, PRIDE, ELYPSE, DEEKINZ…). Their music proves to be as refined as melodious, and shows remarkable professionalism and style. Recorded in 2003, "Evilution" is already a serious competition for each time more perfect Anglo-Saxon line-ups. Here is a very interesting work, from beginning to end. An album that you shouldn"t leave at the far end of your CD-collection !
