The Boy and the Wolf is a story of a young boy who discovers a very special gift he possesses: understanding the language of animals. Billy runs away from home because he thinks he was the cause of his parents" breakup and divorce. He wanders into the woods, where he gets lost, and winds up falling asleep when he stops to eat and rest. When he wakes up the next morning, he finds he is covered by leaves and his fruit has been eaten. Strangely enough, he is confronted by a wolf, who understands him, and that"s just the beginning of the story of The Boy and the Wolf.
