Who Was the Pharaoh of the Exodus?
In this book the author builds on the research of Dr. Immanuel Velikovsky to come to the conclusion: the Pharaoh of the Exodus was not Ramses II. Instead, his research strongly suggests it was during the reign of Pharaoh Pepy II when the Israelites went into bondage. They escaped into the wilderness during the reign of NemtyemzafII. The author"s chronological realignment also sheds light on other periods in ancient Bible history. Using outside historical and archaeological data, it places the Bible Patriarchs in the proper places in history, proposing the identities of the Pharaohs visited by Abraham, the Pharaoh who made Joseph vizier of Egypt and the names of other Pharaohs who played prominent roles in Old Testament history.
