"Une Fois pour toutes" grew out of a project by the Philips Academy French Dept. to design an intermediate-level curriculum which would match the interest of students and provide a sound basis of linguistic competence upon which to build further study. It is designed as an individualized review of grammar to complement literature, civilization, or other topically intensive courses. It reviews and refines essential language structure. This text is written entirely in French. Every lesson is organized according to inductive learning by each student, who can work at his own pace. There is a grammar reference, a table of verbs , and oral lessons at the end of the book.
