Colby Dean, a former pro football player, had just started his new job with the State of Georgia. As a Game and Fish Ranger, Colby patrolled the Okefenokee Swamp. He had been raised in the Land of the Trembling Earth, and he loved it. The young ranger"s life changed completely when, one stormy night, a plane came crashing down into the alligator-infested waters of the swamps.
