Sennelier manufactures one of the finest professional oil pastels in the world. The extraordinary creamy, lipstick-like quality of these pastels makes them a pleasure to use. Rich in pigment, most with outstanding opacity, they cover incredibly well and have excellent lightfastness. These pastels were developed in collaboration with Picasso and Goetz in a palette very close to oil paints. Thinned with turpentine, they may be worked with a brush and are compatible with all traditional oil mediums. They can be applied to any surface: paper, canvas, wood, or metal - an exciting addition for mixed media works.
