In The Midst of Lions plays vicious deathcore in the service of a higher power. A mixture of fast-paced tech metal, explosive breakdowns and inspirational live shows, their music can be compared to such contemporaries as The Faceless, Meshuggah and Veil of Maya. Their third album "Shadows" is their finest material yet and has monstrous production thanks to Zack Ohren at Castle Ultimate Studios who has also worked with bands such as All Shall Perish and As Blood Runs Black. ITMOL has built their name nationwide touring alongside of For Today, Bury Your Dead, Evergreen Terrace, Maylene & The Sons of Disaster, Motionless in White and many more. They will be touring on the 2011 Thrash and Burn Tour with Winds Of Plague, Chelsea Grin, As Blood Runs Black and more this November and December in support of "Shadows."
